GeorgiaJanet has been busy busy busy...

...on the road, at the beach (yes, again), celebrating birthdays, spending time with those adorable grandchildren, of course getting in some writing.
It's been a while but finally there are updates for you. Do you have questions? GeorgiaJanet does, but I have answers too. Let's start with this one:

Several have asked when Madam May will be available in a print edition. Many more ebooks will need to be sold to finance print copies. Another possibility is for a publisher to pick up the book if it does well (sells) as an ebook. So, buy buy buy and share with your friends!Don't forget Madam May is available here:  http://www.amazon.com/Madam-May-Madams-Morphine-Moonshine-ebook/dp/B00YWCV8YY/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1433470473&sr=1-1&keywords=Madam+May&pebp=1433470484762&perid=1GXQFZ1J1MEXAKMQY2MB

Great Reviews!

The reviews are coming in and Madam May is a hit!

 Here's what folks are saying...

  • Fascinating story - great story-telling! I loved the historical detail, and I loved May, who, in spite of her dubious character (or maybe even because of it!) held my interest all the way. I couldn't wait to see what May's next scheme would be or how she would finagle her way out of the trouble she kept getting into with the law.

  • This tale of Atlanta at the turn of the 20th century, seen through the eyes of Madam May is a delightful look at life in the deep south during an interesting time in U.S. history. Miss May lived a life of madness, morphine and mayhem, with a twist of humor and engagement the author has brought her great grandmother to my living room for a cup of tea and a few laughs. I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful book.

  • This book was so interesting, it kept my interest until the end. I am from Atlanta and it was interesting reading about it at the turn of the century. When I finished the book, I wanted to know more about what happened to May. I hope that Ms. Chapman will write a sequel soon.

  • This book was a great read. It is obvious the author has done her research. The historical details are fascinating. In spite of May's questionable actions, she is a likable heroine and captures the reader's sense of social consciousness. I highly recommend this book for those who like strong women characters and historical fiction set in the south.

  • A well crafted story that held my interest throughout. From the accurate descriptions of old Atlanta to May's exploits, the story never slows down. The fact that it's based on actual events is fascinating and makes me want to read more. Well done-

  • This story, based on true events, keeps you intrigued. Once I started reading, I didn't want to stop. Miss May is a handful of a women and surprisingly resourceful. Especially enjoyed all the Atlanta landmark references since I grew up here. You can't help rooting for May even with all her flaws. Never get in the way of a determined woman!

Spring 2015!

Spring will officially begin March 20th, 2015 at 6:56 pm. Woohoo!
GeorgiaJanet and Elvis
Wow - hard to believe  is just a few weeks away. Although here in Atlanta we have to endure a couple of yellow weeks, spring is gorgeous and I can't wait. An escape for a week on a southern Caribbean cruise only whetted my appetite for warm weather. And by the way, look who I found - Elvis was alive and well on the Carnival Conquest! Matt Martin, of Ontario, Canada, is by far the best Elvis impersonator I've seen.
